Neighbourhood Network is a not-for-profit division of Magna International Inc. that multiplies community giving and creates caring and vibrant neighbourhoods by promoting volunteerism, linking resources, and supporting local charities and agencies.
The Give Back Awards are an annual $1,000 cash prize awarded to 20 graduating students from high schools in Aurora, Georgina, King Township, and Newmarket. The awards are presented to students who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to community involvement.
“I love the Give Back Awards because I love reading about all the amazing things students are doing in our communities,” said Tanya Dennis, program coordinator. “It is a time to celebrate, give thanks, and to feel inspired by those that go above and beyond.”
Give Back Awards applications are now open and will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021.
During the changing and unprecedented times, we will continue to follow the health and safety guidelines of COVID-19, which will determine how the winners are celebrated in April.
