Newmarket hydro is reporting a large-scale power outage Saturday morning.
Power went down in the central area of town at about 8:30 a.m., and repair required power to be shut down in other areas of town, according to Newmarket-Tay Hydro Dist. Ltd.
Repair work was estimated to take two hours, with power restored to all customers by about 11 a.m.
