The team at Cedarvale Lodge Retirement and Care Community in Keswick congratulates its remarkable residents for safely completing their virtual cycling tours through the Road Worlds for Seniors program, against seniors around the world, for a second year in a row.

From Sept. 7 to Oct. 2, the residents at Cedarvale Lodge competed three times a week to rack up the most miles, while bonding over safely exploring the world virtually together, including sights in Switzerland, Dubai and Malaysia.

“Residents enjoy the opportunity to share their life experiences on travel with one another, while being part of a cycling team,” says Arteida Shaqiri, Lifestyle Consultant at Cedarvale Lodge.

“It’s offering more than just physical exercise. It’s allowing our residents to travel and reminisce on places they have been or always wanted to visit,” adds Shaqiri. “The residents have been thriving and raving about the virtual cycling.”

As Cedarvale Lodge residents look forward to travelling the world again next year, the entire team wishes its participating athletes the best.
