Tickets go on sale today, Dec. 15, for the Jim Cuddy Band performance at the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts in Georgina on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Jim Cuddy has one of the most recognizable voices in Canadian music and has written many of the songs that have become part of the soundtrack of Canadian lives, the Town of Georgina said in a news release.
Both as a solo artist and as one of the creative forces in Blue Rodeo, Jim has received nearly every accolade Canada can bestow upon a musician, including 15 JUNO Awards and the Order of Canada.
With bandmates Blue Rodeo, he has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, received the Governor General Performing Arts Award and a Star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.
Tickets to this event, which begins 8 p.m., and other upcoming shows at the Stephen Leacock Theatre, Leahy Next Generation, Chris Funk the Masterful Illusionist, Canada’s Drag Queen – Tynomi Banks, Sass Jordan and Choir, Choir, Choir, are available online.
