Elmira Moradi of Richmond Hill is $250,000 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT STACKS (Game #2323).
Elmira, a soon-to-be-grandmother, says she has been a regular lottery player for 38 years. "When I bought my ticket, I asked the store clerk for a receipt and joked with him that I would need it to claim my big prize. Turns out I was right," she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her big cheque.
"I played my ticket in the store and noticed I matched all the numbers to win $250,000," Elmira explained. "I thought it was a mistake! I gave the ticket back to the store clerk and said 'I won big!' He was so happy and excited for me."
Elmira plans to improve her quality of life with this win. "I want to help my husband retire so that we can spend more time together. I want to travel and share this win with my children," she smiled.
"It's like living a dream. This is one of the great days in my life that I'll never forget," she concluded.
OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. Submitting claims online is fast and secure. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.
