Peter Chan of Gilford is $100,000 richer after winning with Instant Gold Pursuit (Game #2411).

Peter, a retiree, is celebrating his first big win after playing the lottery for more than 20 years.

“I was surprised and wanted to come to the Prize Centre right then and there,” he shared while picking up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

The married father of one recalled sharing the news with his wife.

“I only told her, and she obviously didn’t believe me,” he laughed. “It’s hard to explain this feeling, but it’s a good one.”

Peter will take some time before deciding what to do with his windfall.
