Cupid's arrow has landed on an unexpected couple for Valentine's Day: scotch and chocolate.
The Town of Newmarket is offering Daring Pairings: Scotch and Chocolate - A Valentine's Day Experience tomorrow, on Valentine's Day, for you and your friend, date, partner or love of your life at the Old Town Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.
You'll enjoy a fun tasting experience of this unexpected pairing of scotch and chocolate tasting and will come away knowing how to really taste and appropriately pair the two. The experts are a Lindt Chocolate representative and Ed Patrick, president of the Companions of the Quaich Whisky Appreciation Society.
Participants must be age 19 and over for this daring pairing.
The cost of the event is $57.63 for residents and $91.53 for non-residents.
