Two employees at Longo's East Gwillimbury are confirmed positive with COVID-19, the grocery retailer is reporting today, April 5.
Both employees last worked at the Green Lane location, on the border of Newmarket, on Tuesday, March 30.
The grocer is also reporting positive cases for an employee who last worked March 27 at its Wellington Street East location, and for an employee who last worked March 28 at its Bathurst Street location.
Other York Region groceries reporting COVID-19 cases this week include an employee of Loblaws on High Tech Road in Richmond Hill who last worked March 28.
FreshCo employees at the Steeles Avenue West store in Thornhill (last worked March 26) and McCowan Road North store in Markham (last worked March 24) also tested positive.
McDonalds on Rutherford Road in Vaughan is confirming a case in an employee who last worked April 1.
