Paranormal activity will come to Newmarket’s Old Town Hall once again as the Town of Newmarket starts its annual ghost tours Oct. 4.
The town will be offering guided tours of downtown Newmarket, highlighting the spookier parts of its history. Tour guests will learn about the many “suspicious events and anecdotes” that have taken place here since the 1880s.
The tours conclude with the Georgina Paranormal Society at the Old Town Hall, where you will learn more about paranormal activity and experience a live paranormal investigation.
“So excited to be doing this event once again,” the Georgina Paranormal Society said on social media. “And yes — the Old Town Hall in Newmarket is very haunted!”
The annual tours are approximately 60 minutes in length, followed by the paranormal investigation portion. It is limited to adult Newmarket residents only. Recordings are not allowed, but there will be photo opportunities.
The tours will run every Wednesday in October, twice each week between 7 to 8:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person.
