While Newmarket's museum remains closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still take part in online activities to mark Museum Month throughout May.
Museum Month is an opportunity to celebrate Newmarket’s heritage and culture, as well as the contributions of museums to our communities.
Some of the activities offered on the Elman W. Campbell Museum's online learning activities hub include:
- Learn how to create your own time capsule — future generations will wonder what it was like to experience life during the global pandemic;
- Have fun with online jigsaw puzzles by putting the toy artifacts back together;
- Download the colouring pages found within the curriculum-based learning activities for grades 1 to 6;
- Go on a virtual tour of the the museum here.
