Aurora Tim Hortons restaurant owners and their customers raised $25,769 to support mental health and addiction services in the community

Aurora Tim Hortons restaurant owners and their customers raised $25,769 to support Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) York Region South Simcoe during the annual Smile Cookie campaign.

Tim Hortons restaurant owners and millions of generous customers helped to break a new Smile Cookie record by raising $18.3 million for local charities and community groups across the country.

Aurora Tim Hortons owners Amit Seth, Rachana Seth, Caitlyn Alford and Drew Alford chose to support the mental health and addiction services that CMHA York Region South Simcoe provides to more than 20,000 youth, adults and family caregivers in the community.

“We are extremely grateful to our Aurora Tim Hortons restaurant owners and community members who came together during Smile Cookie Week in support of our mental health programs,” says Rebecca Shields, CEO of CMHA York Region South Simcoe. “The support from our community helps us ensure individuals and families have immediate access to free mental health care when they need us most.”
