The Very Useful Theatre Company is holding auditions for non-equity actors interested in performing in the 2024 Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays Sept. 5 to 8.
The festival, which takes place at Newmarket Old Town Hall, has received a record 300 entries from around the world in just a six-week window this year, organizers said.
How to Audition
There is a simple two-step process to book your audition slot:
- Fill in your details.
- Make an appointment.
Those auditioning will be given a prepared script or can choose to perform their own prepared monologue.
The deadline for application is Wednesday, June 12.
Auditions will be held upstairs at Newmarket Optimists Hall, 55 Forhan Ave, on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16.
