At least 7 suspects at large after Richmond Hill warehouse break-in

CRIME OF THE WEEK: Police arrived while at least 10 suspects were in the building after using hammers and saws to enter it on April 1, Crime Stoppers says

Crime Stoppers of York Region has released a video of a break-and-enter at a commercial warehouse in Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police were called to a warehouse in the area of Leslie Street and Major Mackenzie Drive East on April 1 at about 4:30 a.m. where as many as 10 suspects were breaking in with hammers and electric saws.

Two suspects were arrested when officers arrived. The canine unit was able to apprehend a third suspect. Several other individuals fled through an exit door.
