There are now three residents in serious condition, one in critical following yesterday's apartment building fire at 114 Holland St. West in Bradford.

Forty-five residents of the 84-unit, eight-storey complex have been relocated to hotels, with the remainder of residents staying with family or friends.

Bradford Fire, the Ontario Fire Marshal and property owner are on site today. Until it is determined that the building is safe to access, the fire marshal cannot conduct the inspection and there is no estimate on when that will be yet.

The town is working on coordinating donations for displaced residents with local community organizations.

Residents of 114 Holland who have not yet checked in with the town, either at the Danube Centre last night or by calling 905-755-5366, ext. 0, are requested to do so to be accounted for and directed to the right supports.

Most displaced residents have been reunited with their pets. Anyone who is still looking for a missing pet can contact the town directly at 905-775-5366, ext. 0.

The community has come together to rally for the displaced residents, with food, shelter and support resources.

There have also been a number of Go Fund Me Pages set up for some of the families who lived in the building and have lost all their belongings.

Jaylin Cuco who works at Bradford Wellness Centre was one of the residents of the complex. She lived there with her brother Daniel, 19, sister Serena, 11, and their father, Tony.

All of the family is safe but has lost all their possessions.

The Bradford Wellness Centre has started a Go Fund Me page, asking for monetary donations to help the family. They are also accepting gift cards, donations of new and gently used clothing, household items, toiletries at Bradford Wellness Centre at 140 Holland St. West.

Another Go Fund Me page for the Cuco family has been set up by Alicia Swan.

Justin McDonald of Deer Lake, NL, has made a Go Fund Me page for his sister, Nicole, who lived in the building. He said she barely escaped yesterday's blaze.

"I'm doing this to help her and her four kids get back on their feet as she has lost everything," he wrote.

Chelsea Kincaide of Bradford has started a Go Fund Me page for apartment residents Jim and Pam who are in need of furniture, clothes and food.

Nicole Deering of Bradford has started a Go Fund Me Page for apartment residents Alicia, husband Kyle and their two children, Zach, 11, and Alivia, 2. The family is currently staying with family. They are currently in need of clothing, food and essentials for the children.
