Re: York Region has a plan to improve seniors' lives, March 8, 2024.

One of the biggest challenges seniors have is housing. Not nursing homes, not long-term care homes. Housing specific to seniors.

There are a lot of independent seniors who are risk of losing their homes to big developers to be able to charge more rent. These people will be on the street. How will that look for our governments, when they can't provide safe, affordable housing for independent seniors?

Government is so concerned with finding housing for newcomers, they've forgotten people who have been here all their lives and helped build this country. Wake up, Trudeau, Ford, Singh and anyone else I have not mentioned. This is a serious problem.
