My name is Dr. Allen Ng and thanks for visiting the Motion Is Life Chiropractic website. I am excited that you are taking the time to look around. It lets me know that you are thinking and prioritizing your health. Motion Is Life Chiropractic is all about promoting optimal and natural health and wellness.
At this time, I would like to share a bit about myself to all of you. I was born and raised in Toronto. I played competitive tennis for 10 years, then received my Level 2 Coaching Certificate and taught tennis for 8 years at a tennis camp that I created for kids. As well, I volunteered for 3 years as the captain for the intercounty tennis leagues, so as to promote friendly and social community competition.
When I was 15, as part of the new curriculum and double cohort, I took a careers class. There I decided to look into my dad's profession - chiropractic. My dad, a chiropractor for 30+ years, is a big inspiration and role model for me. He took me to a few chiropractic seminars that year, and after hearing a few speakers, I realized what my calling and dream was, and that was to become a chiropractor as well!
I continued to go to seminars with my dad and continued to speak passionately about chiropractic through my high school years, then later through my years at York University, where I studied and completed three full years of Kinesiology and Health Science.
I was then accepted into the internationally renowned Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. I became president of two chiropractic clubs and would later be honoured with the prestigious David Artis Memorial Graduation Award. After finishing four gruelling years in chiropractic school, I finally realized my ten-year dream. During Convocation, when I walked across the stage, it was an honour to actually have my dad induct me into the profession, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Today, I still regularly enjoy going to chiropractic seminars with my dad. I have achieved certifications in the Activator Technique, Thompson Technique, and the Webster Technique for pregnancy. I am a proud member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Chiropractic Awareness Council, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and serving you with that calling I received. My goal for you is to live a life to your fullest potential, happy and healthy, from the inside-out!
