The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto has donated much needed medical-grade goggles and reusable surgical protective suits to Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Taipei Director General Catherine Hsu presented the donation of 1,000 goggles and 200 one-piece suits yesterday at the Newmarket hospital to Deputy Premier, Health Minister and Newmarket-Aurora MPP Christine Elliott, Education Minister and King-Vaughan MPP Stephen Lecce, and Southlake executive vice-president of clinical services Barb Steed.
Thank you @celliottability & @Sflecce for witnessing the made-in-Taiwan PPE presentation at @SouthlakeRHC. Happy to work with Taiwanese community to give our strong support to #Ontario in these challenging times. https://t.co/sCuUbkMLjv
