You can once again sate your Big Mac attack while dining indoors at McDonald's restaurants in Newmarket and across the country.

Following the successful reintroduction of take-out at 30 Canadian test locations, McDonald’s Canada is reopening its dining rooms with some added safeguards to enhance safety and wellness for customers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release.

The precautions include:
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers available inside restaurants
  • Floor markers for physical distancing of six feet, or two metres
  • Front counters fitted with protective screens
  • Contactless payment options, or order using the McDonald’s mobile app to pay on your cellphone
  • High-touch surfaces and tables will be kept clean and sanitized
  • Clearly marked/designated select tables for dine-in to respect physical distancing
  • Limited guest numbers inside based on restaurant size, as well on outdoor seating spaces.
