Loblaws has confirmed that an employee at John's No Frills on Davis Drive in Newmarket tested positive for COVID-19. The employee's last day of work was on Dec. 8.
This is the second infection at the Newmarket grocery store, with the first taking place in late April.
Loblaws, the parent company, said when cases of COVID-19 are found, the impacted store works closely with local public health officials and follows their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization.
