COVID-19 cases reported at Newmarket McDonald’s, Farm Boy, Shoppers

Employees at McDonald's, Farm Boy and Shoppers in Newmarket have been confirmed with COVID-19 in the last week.

The employee at the McDonald’s restaurant at 1100 Davis Dr. last day worked May 18. 

The employee at Farm Boy, located at 18075 Yonge St., last worked May 10. 

A worker at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 17600 Yonge St. in Upper Canada Mall last worked May 14. 

Additional positive cases at McDonald's locations in York Region include two employees at 9600 Islington Ave. in Woodbridge who last worked May 12 and May 13, an employee at 300 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill who last worked May 10, and an employee at 11005 Yonge St., Richmond Hill who last worked May 12. 

Loblaw is reporting positive cases for: an employee at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 1730 Bur Oak Ave. in Markham who last worked May 16; two Fortinos employees at 2911 Major Mackenzie Dr. West in Vaughan who last worked May 11 and 16; two employees at the Fortinos at 3940 Highway 7 in Vaughan who last worked May 11 and 15; and a Loblaws employee at 301 High Tech Rd. in Richmond Hill who last worked May 10.  

All three companies regularly update customers on potential COVID-19 exposures at their stores for the past 14 to 15 days through their websites.
