The Town of Newmarket has organized an opportunity for residents to ask their questions about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout directly to representatives of York Region Public Health on Friday.
Starting at 2 p.m. on March 5, the municipality will be hosting a live-streamed information meeting where Mayor John Taylor and the public health workers will be discussing the vaccine plan and answering people's questions.
"I felt there was an urgent need to try to provide more information and answer questions related to COVID vaccinations in York Region," said Taylor. "This Friday I will host a COVID vaccination information meeting supported by York Region Public Health."
People can participate in the meeting by going to the town's Facebook page. Anyone who needs an alternative way to watch the meeting is asked to email [email protected] for assistance.
