Premier Doug Ford will be joined by Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education; and Kinga Surma, MPP for Etobicoke Centre and Associate Minister of Transportation (GTA), to make an announcement.
Ford made the announcement today from Etobicoke.
Following a question from media regarding school buses, driver availability and COVID-19 protocols, Ford said he has asked the Ministry to expedite regulations and protocols, which he said will be done.
"We're putting over a billion dollars into the transportation system," Ford stated.
He said details of the province's school bus health and safety protocols would be made available later today.
