ADOPT ME: Sweet guinea pig brothers are shy at first

Adorable Teddy and Kurt are looking for a loving home, separate or together

NewmarketToday, in partnership with the the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting special pets in need of adoption.

Teddy and Kurt are adorable one-year-old guinea pig brothers looking for a loving home —- separately or together!

They came into the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre Nov. 18, 2022 for rehoming.

They are the sweetest pair but a bit shy at first. Their first reaction is to scurry into a hidey house when someone enters their space but they are quite open to pets once they feel secure with you.

They also love their daily veggie snacks, so staff have been hand feeding them veggies to win their affection and it works quite well!

We believe that they will make an excellent addition to someone’s family if their adopter is patient with them and continues to socialize them every day. They are currently located at the Ren’s Pets at 1040 Hoover Park Dr. in Stouffville.

Please visit them during their hours of operation or call Ren’s Pets for more information at (905) 209-6867.
