A kitten with mittens!

Carmel is a five-year-old cat at the York Region Ontario SPCA Animal Centre searching for her fur-ever home. She is a very special cat because she is polydactyl. This means that she has an extra digit on both her front paws making it look like she is wearing mittens.

Carmel is a very sweet and quiet lap cat. She can be initially shy but once she warms up she will flop over for belly rubs while purring.

If you are still interested in adopting Carmel please email [email protected] with information about yourself to see if you’re a match. To see more animals waiting for adoption, visit ontariospca.ca/yorkregion .
