Snow squall warning in effect for:
- Newmarket - Georgina - Northern York Region
Lake effect snow squalls weakening tonight.
Flurries and snow squalls are forecast to move westward and retreat toward Georgian Bay tonight.
Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm remain possible.
Locations impacted include:
Keswick, Georgina and Sutton.
Local blowing snow reducing visibilities to near zero will also be a concern until the snow squalls end.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
