YRP looking for witnesses in tow truck arson in Newmarket

York Regional Police are seeking witnesses followoing a tow truck arson that took place in Newmarket early in the morning on Thursday, Sept. 16. 

At around 3:45 a.m., YRP responded to a call about a tow truck on fire at a house in the area of Longford Drive and Davis Drive, according to a news release. 

They found the truck parked and on fire on Lindsay Avenue.

The fire was extinguished and nobody was injured. 

Police said they believe the fire was intentionally set and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
