Police in the region continue to investigate and dispose of weed found near the border of Bradford and York Region on Pumphouse Road in the Holland Marsh.
Members of the York Regional Police, King Fire, and paramedics remained on scene late Friday afternoon and contractors were brought in to shred the plant material for disposal.
Hundreds of gallons of flammable chemicals, including solvents such as isopropyl alcohol, were removed from the house that was being used as a chemical lab for processing the cannabis into a more concentrated product.
Police say there is no threat to public safety and the investigation is ongoing.
