South Simcoe Police Service officers are renewing their appeal for witnesses and security camera video following a fail to remain collision in Bradford.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 around 9 p.m., police were called to the area of Drury Street and Thomas Street for a report of a person struck by a vehicle. When emergency services arrived, they located a 67-year-old Mississauga man with critical injuries. The man remains in critical condition at a Toronto trauma centre as investigators continue their efforts to determine what happened and why.

As previously stated, the victim's 2015 black Dodge Ram was northbound on Drury Street and stopped at the stop sign at Thomas Street. An unknown event took place where the victim wound up outside the vehicle and an unknown person drove the vehicle away causing the victim's injuries. The pickup truck was abandoned a short time later at Frederick and Toronto Streets.

Officers have conducted an extensive canvass of both scenes and are issuing another public appeal for information, witnesses and security camera footage.

If you can help, please contact South Simcoe Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
