Suspect wanted in connection with Aurora LCBO theft

A man left the Yonge store without paying for about $300 in alcohol, Crime Stoppers of York Region says

Crime Stoppers of York Region has released an image of a suspect wanted in connection with an LCBO theft in Aurora March. 24.

York Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a theft at an Aurora LCBO outlet last March.

A man entered the Yonge Street liquor store at about noon on Wednesday, March 24 and left without paying for alcohol worth about $300 that had been placed in a dark-coloured shopping bag, according to Crime Stoppers of York Region's Crime of the Week.  

The suspect was caught on video surveillance at the outlet at 14824 Yonge St. at Brookland Avenue, prior to is departure at about 12:15 p.m.

The man is described as white, age 55 to 60, with a thin build, and wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt, pants and shoes.
