Shooting in Aurora leaves bullet holes in door of a house

No injuries are reported in the incident that occurred in a residential neighbourhood near Bayview and St. John's Friday night

A late night shooting took place in a residential neighbourhood in Aurora on Friday, Jan. 7. 

York Regional Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting about 11:45 p.m. near Conover Avenue and Starr Crescent, which is in the area of east of Bayview Avenue and south of St. John's Sideroad.

When officers arrived, they found bullet holes in the door of a house and shell casings on the street. No injuries were reported. 

Police are appealing for anyone in the area that night to speak with investigators. They are also looking for any surveillance video or dashcam footage from the time of the shooting.
