School intruder punches King teacher in face

Investigators with the #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance to identify a suspect wanted in an assault that occurred at King City Secondary School.

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, shortly before 11:30 a.m., an unknown man gained entry to King City Secondary School. He walked around the first floor of the school, then went upstairs to a classroom on the second floor. He walked into a classroom and punched a teacher in the face. He then fled the school west on King Road. The teacher, a 37-year-old man, had minor injuries. There were no students in the school at the time of the incident.

Investigators have exhausted all leads and are releasing an image of the suspect and appealing to the community for any information that may lead to his identity.

Suspect:  

  • Male, white  
  • 20 to 25 years  
  • Brown hair with beard

The investigation is ongoing.
