A 59-year old man was arrested in Richmond Hill on Aug.5 for driving with a suspended licence just half an hour after the suspension occurred.
York Regional Police shared a video online showing part of the interaction with the driver, who had been pulled over earlier in the same day.

A man was stopped by police for going 115 km/h in a 60 km/h zone at 9:20 a.m. in the area of Leslie Street and 19th Avenue in Richmond Hill, said Const. Maniva Armstrong.
He was charged with speeding and stunt driving and his licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
The 59-year-old left the scene with a friend at 10:30 a.m. but at 10:55 a.m., York Regional Police saw him driving another car at the LCBO by Yonge Street and Stouffville Road in Richmond Hill.
He was pulled over and arrested for driving while suspended. The second vehicle was also impounded, this time for seven days.
The man was driven home by police officers following the second incident.
In their tweet sharing the incident, YRP said, “Let's normalize driving the speed limit.”
