Police seek ATV rider after collision with parked car in Vaughan

Vehicle sustained significant front-end damage in the January 2019 incident

Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking suspects and witnesses following a fail-to-remain collision involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in the City of Vaughan.

On Jan. 15, 2019, York Regional Police were called to a residence on Andrew Hill Drive in the City of Vaughan for a report of a fail-to-remain collision. Officers learned that on Jan. 14, 2019 at approximately 10 a.m., a male suspect was riding a small ATV down the street and collided with a vehicle parked in a driveway, causing significant damage to the front end of the vehicle. The suspect got into a dark-coloured four-door BMW with three other male suspects and fled the scene.

Investigators are releasing a video of the incident and are seeking assistance in identifying the suspects. The suspects involved are urged to seek legal advice and turn themselves in.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision, are being asked to please come forward.
