61-year-old Albert Linstead who was missing from the Town of Georgina has been located. On Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, shortly after 11 a.m., he was located walking in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville in good health.

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating a missing 61-year-old man from the Town of Georgina.

Albert Linstead was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at approximately 2 p.m., when he walked from his residence on Winnifred Drive, which is in the area of The Queensway South and Ravenshoe Road.

Investigators are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police. They are also asking anyone in the area to check their properties and any out buildings they may have.

Officers with the York Regional Police Search and Rescue Unit were deployed overnight and will continue to search the area today. A command post has been set up in the parking lot at 589 The Queensway South.

Description:

  • Male, white
  • 5’7”, 130 lbs., thin-build
  • Grey hair
  • Wears glasses
  • May be wearing hearing aids in both ears
  • May appear confused if found and may not respond to people
  • Last seen wearing a John Deere hoodie, dark-coloured jogging pants, black running shoes and a black baseball cap
