South Simcoe Police Service officers are making a renewed appeal for witnesses to a collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Bradford.

On Saturday, May 16, 2020, around 5:30 p.m., officers were called to a three-vehicle collision on Yonge Street north of the 9th Line. The investigation has determined that a white Hyundai Veloster travelling northbound, struck a black Audi SUV travelling southbound.  A secondary collision then occurred involving the white Hyundai and a blue Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old East Gwillimbury man, died at the scene.  

The driver of the Hyundai was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Further investigation at the hospital resulted in the driver, a 37-year-old Holland Landing woman, being arrested and charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Death.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who may have any information, observed any of these vehicles or have dashcam footage while on Yonge Street
