Police investigate after shots fired at Vaughan home

No one was physically injured

Investigators are seeking information to help identify a suspect sought following a shots fired incident in the City of Vaughan.

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 shortly after 1 a.m., police were called to Annsleywood Court, which is located in the area of Highway 27 and Islington Avenue, for a report of the sound of gunshots. When officers arrived, they located multiple shell casings on the roadway in front of a residence. No one was physically injured.

Security camera footage revealed that a black sedan pulled up in front of a residence. A male exits the vehicle from a rear passenger door, pointed at the residence and fired. The suspect returned to the vehicle and it drove away.

Investigators are releasing the video, along with images of the suspect and the vehicle and are appealing to anyone with information that could identify the suspect to please come forward.

Suspect description:
    •    Male
    •    Wearing dark clothing with a hood
    •    Walks with a limp

Suspect vehicle:
    •    Black, four-door sedan
