Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit are seeking witnesses following a shooting in the City of Vaughan.
On Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, shortly before 7:30 a.m., York Regional Police received information regarding a male victim who attended a Toronto Hospital with gunshot injuries.
Officers learned that the shooting occurred at a building on Freshway Drive in Vaughan. Officers attended and located a second victim who was deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area who have not yet spoken to police, or anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time with a dashcam to please come forward.
