Officers with #2 District are seeking anyone who witnessed a serious collision that occurred earlier today in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Sunday, December 22, 2019, shortly before 11 a.m., York Regional Police were called to the intersection of Avenue Road and Carville Road for a report of a two-vehicle collision with injuries.
When officers arrived they found that a white Hyundai sedan had collided with a yellow Toyota sedan.
The driver and passenger who were in the yellow Toyota were taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries. The driver of the white Hyundai was also taken to hospital suffering from injuries.
Investigating officers believe that there were other vehicles that were in the area at the time of the collision but left prior to speaking with police. Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision and anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time to please come forward.
