Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses following a shooting that occurred in the City of Vaughan.
On Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 shortly after 10 p.m., York Regional Police were called to the area of Steeles Avenue West and Martin Grove Road for a report of gunshots being fired. When officers arrived they found multiple shell casings on the roadway just north of the intersection, but there were no suspects or victims.
Investigators believe that around 10 p.m., there were two vehicles on Martin Grove Road, just north of Steeles Avenue, and occupants of the vehicles fired gunshots.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the shooting and anyone who may have been in the area at the time with a dashcam, to please come forward.
