More than $3 million in drugs seized in Vaughan drug bust (9 photos)

Seized drugs included more than five litres of liquid ketamine

Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have executed a search warrant and seized more than $1.5 million in cocaine, as well as other narcotics and processing equipment, in the City of Vaughan.

In July, 2018 an investigation began into residents of the City of Vaughan who were believed to be involved in trafficking drugs. On Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, investigators arrested a suspect out front of a residence located on Zenith Avenue. The suspect was found to be in possession of more than three kilograms of cocaine.

A search warrant was executed at the residence and investigators found more than 18 kilograms of cocaine worth more than $1.5 million, three kilograms of marijuana, 1.5 kilograms of heroin, 700 ecstasy pills, a kilogram of methamphetamine, 11 grams of fentanyl, and more than five litres of liquid ketamine. Investigators also seized cocaine presses, logo plates and packaging materials. The total estimated value of this seizure was more than $3 million.

  • Dat Nguyen, 25, City of Vaughan
  • Anne Lu, 32, City of Vaughan

Charges Include:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Production of a controlled substance
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
