UPDATE: Missing vulnerable Whitchurch-Stouffville man found

UPDATE, April 4: York Regional police report the missing man was located in the City of Toronto, in good health, and has been reunited with his family.

Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 33-year-old vulnerable man from the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Daniel Weidelich, was last seen by his family on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at his residence located in the area of Ninth Line and Millard Street. His family believes he left his residence on Thursday, March 31, 2022, sometime before 10 p.m. He has not returned home and police have not been able to locate him.

Investigators and his family are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

Description: 

  • Male, white, 33 
  • 5’11”, 175 lbs. 
  • Medium build 
  • Light complexion 
  • Short, light-brown hair and full beard
  • May be wearing tanned coloured boots and a black jacket
