Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance in identifying two suspects following a robbery at a restaurant in the City of Vaughan. On Sunday, May 5, 2019, just before 10 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a restaurant in the area of Langstaff Road and Highway 27, for a report of a robbery.

Two male suspects wearing masks and armed with knives, entered the store and made a demand for cash. The employee complied. The suspects fled in a white compact car. Suspects described as:

  • Male, Black
  • 13 to 16 years
  • Wearing dark coloured-hoodies, black pants and black masks

No one was physically injured during the incident. Investigators from the Hold-Up Unit remind business owners of the importance of maintaining and updating video surveillance equipment. Quality images help to identify suspects, can aid in arrests and have a tremendous impact during court proceedings.
