Masked men flee with cash from Richmond Hill bank

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance to identify suspects following a bank robbery in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, shortly after 3 p.m., police were called to a bank at 10856 Bayview Ave. for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, they found employees in the bank who were not physically injured. Investigators have determined that two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the bank. They made a demand for cash and employees complied. The suspects fled in a vehicle.

Suspect 1:

  • Male, Black
  • 5’9”
  • Wearing dark clothing
  • Face covered with a black mask
  • Armed with a handgun

Suspect 2: 

  • Male
  • Wearing dark clothing
  • Face covered with a black mask

Suspect vehicle:

  • Four-door sedan
