Update: 9:45 p.m.

York Regional Police thank the media and the public for their assistance in locating a 38-year-old woman missing from the City of Markham.  

[Name removed] was last seen on Monday, September 9, 2019, at 7 a.m., when she left her residence on Anthony Roman Avenue, which is in the area of Woodbine Avenue, north of Major Mackenzie Drive East.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, she was located in good health.

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance to locate a 38-year-old woman missing from the City of Markham.  

[Name removed} was last seen on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at 7 a.m., when she left her residence on Anthony Roman Avenue, which is in the area of Woodbine Avenue, north of Major Mackenzie Drive East. She has not been in touch with family since, which is out of character for her.

Police and family members are growing increasingly concerned for her well-being.

Missing:

  • Female, Black
  • 5’9”, medium build
  • Shoulder-length, curly black hair
  • Last seen wearing white jeans, a brown shirt, long black cardigan, carrying a pink-and-peach-coloured handbag.
