Man suspected of voyeurism at Vaughan Mills

A woman reported to police that she believed a man used his mobile phone to take a photo or video up her skirt

Officers with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance to identify a man following an incident of voyeurism at a store in City of Vaughan.

On Saturday, April 20, 2019, between 8 and 9 p.m., a female victim was shopping at a retail store in a mall on Bass Pro Mills Drive in Vaughan. As she was browsing the items on a shelf she noticed that a man was kneeling down beside her with his mobile phone in his hand and she believed he had taken a photo or a video up her skirt. Investigators have been unable to identify the suspect hoping that the public can assist.

Suspect description:

  • Male, Asian
  • 25 to 35 years old
  • Short, black hair
  • Wearing glasses, a beige zip-up jacket, blue jeans and black shoes

The investigation is ongoing.
