Man stabbed in Markham by 3 men wearing ski masks

Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after one man was stabbed in the City of Markham.

On Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 shortly before 11:30 p.m., York Regional Police were called to Treeline Court, which is in the area of Ninth Line and 14th Avenue, for a weapons call. When officers arrived, they located a man who was suffering from stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation has revealed that two vehicles were parked on Treeline Court. The occupants of both vehicles got out of their cars and there was an altercation. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed and the three suspects fled the area.

The suspects are described as:

  • Male, black
  • Wearing ski masks
