Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance to identify a suspect following a gas station robbery in the City of Markham.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, shortly after 3 p.m., police were called to a gas station at 8291 Woodbine Ave. in the area of Woodbine and Highway 407, for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, they found employees in the gas station who were not physically injured. Investigators have determined that a man entered the gas station and made a demand for cash. The employees complied and the suspect fled on foot.

Suspect described as:

  • Male, white
  • 6’, medium build
  • Wearing a grey hoodie, black track pants and a black neck warmer covering his face
