One suspect has been arrested but another is still sought after a Porsche was stolen in an armed carjacking on Bathurst Street in Aurora Tuesday.

A 24-year-old man was driving southbound on Bathurst in a black 2018 Porsche Cayenne when it was hit from behind while stopped at the intersection at and McClellan Drive on March 28 at 12:50 p.m., York Regional Police said in a news release.

The vehicle that struck the Porsche was a black Ford Escape. A suspect got out of the vehicle and approached the Porsche and demanded the vehicle while threatening the victim with a firearm.

The victim complied and the suspect got in the Porsche and drove away going southbound. The Ford Escape followed.

No one was physically harmed and police said they believe this was an isolated incident.

A short time after the carjacking, an officer on patrol noticed a Ford Escape with fresh damage at a gas station in the area of Bathurst and Bloomington Road. The officer investigated and the male driver was arrested.

Haoxiang Feng, 33, of Toronto, is charged with robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent.

A second suspect is still outstanding. He is described as a black male, 5 fee 10 inches tall with a slim build, wearing black clothing and a black ski mask.

Police are asking anyone with video footage from the area, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and speak with investigators. You can contact 1-866-876-5423, ext. 6630 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online
