Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after a shooting in the City of Vaughan.
On Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, shortly after 11 p.m., officers responded to a parking lot in the area of Highway 407 and Jane Street for a weapons call. When officers arrived they located a male victim who appeared to have been shot.
The victim, a 21-year-old man from the City of Toronto, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed this incident that has not spoken with investigators is asked to come forward. Investigators are also appealing to any nearby businesses or residences that may have video surveillance, or any drivers who may have dashcam footage to please come forward.
