Update:

York Regional Police have located a 38-year-old man who was missing from the Town of Georgina.

John Johnson was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, when he went for a walk away from his residence on Churchill Lane, which is in the area of Metro Road North and Kennedy Road.

On Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, he was located in good health.

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance to locate a missing 38-year-old man from the Town of Georgina.

John Johnson was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, when he went for a walk away from his residence on Churchill Lane, which is in the area of Metro Road North and Kennedy Road. He has not returned home or been heard from since.

Investigators are growing increasingly concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

Description:  

  • Male, white  
  • 5'10", 100 lbs.  
  • Blue eyes  
  • Clean shaven  
  • Last seen wearing a brown leather jacket (older and cracking), dark pants (possibly track pants or jeans), running shoes and carrying a black backpack
